We decided to take an impromptu trip to the north shore with our dogs. Finding a spot that allows pets is already tough enough, but with a days notice it's a nightmare. We found Caribou Highlands had pet friendly loft units available so we booked it up. What an awesome decision! A hotel had nothing on this place!

My daughter jokes that some hotels are dog-friendly and some hotels just put up with dogs. This one is definitely dog-friendly! There were two clean dog bowls and several recycled sheets for our dog's use during the stay, and they were already in the unit when we checked in. Very considerate and much appreciated.

We loved our winter getaway at Lutsen Sea Villas. It's not truly a vacation unless the whole family can come - furry family members too! The Sea Villas are on a beautiful stretch of lakeshore; it was wonderful to be able to watch the lake change with the weather and at different times of day. We saw a number of other dogs on property so felt right at home. The on-site Villa Lake trail was a great place to stretch our legs before warming our toes up in front of the fire.
