After a long day of North Shore adventures, the whole family will be ready to take a plunge into the cool, refreshing waters of our indoor and outdoor pools. Cannonballs, underwater flips and endless giggles await your crew during your next pool day on the shore. As the kids make a splash, the adults can finally take some time to unwind and relax by the pool.
Before we go any further, let's acknowledge the sea-sized elephant in the room. A jump into Lake Superior is incredible! But let's face it, even on the warmest days, it can be a bit cool for most of us to swim in long. So we're not trying to discourage you from taking advantage of our favorite great lake - we're just pointing out some other options for cooling down.
Caribou Highlands
Caribou Highlands in Lutsen was built for summertime swimming. Our outdoor and indoor pools have beautiful mountain views and are stellar spots to lounge, splash, and swim.
Larsmont Cottages
At Larsmont Cottages, you'll find a beautiful indoor pool with high vaulted ceilings and an attached fitness center. But wait. There's more. Right outside on the pool patio is an outdoor, year-round hot tub. Perfect for relaxing after a long day on the trails....or a long day lounging on the lakeshore.
Grand Superior Lodge
Grand Superior's pool is on the lower level of the lodge building and includes a sauna and hot tub. Bring the kids, and they can burn off some energy while you lounge in the hot tub. Now that's a vacation.
Beacon Pointe
The last stop on our Pool Tour is Beacon Pointe. Many of our guests are surprised to find a great pool and hot tub for doing some morning laps or evening relaxation. Next time you stay at Beacon Pointe - be sure to bring your suit!
When you book a stay at Beacon Pointe, Larsmont Cottages, Grand Superior Lodge or Caribou Highlands, don’t forget to spend some time poolside!
