  • Glenn Auerbach
    Glenn started SaunaTimes back in 2008. He also authored a book on how to build a sauna and founded the Sauna Talk Podcast in 2016. As a founding board member of the Sauna Research Institute and Sauna Aid, Glenn is a strong advocate for the benefits of sauna. He was the mastermind behind Sauna Days and hopes that everyone has a great time this year.
    Nick Fox
    Nick Fox is Minnesota’s first certified Wim Hof Method (WHM) Instructor. He offers both Fundamental and Advanced WHM workshops across the midwest, coaches athletes in Oxygen Advantage breathwork, and teaches Winter Dipping classes at the American Swedish Institute. He also runs a portable sauna at Lake Nokomis and started his own business called FoxFire Breathworks in 2023.
    Ashley Mason
    Ashley Mason, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry in Residence at the Weill Institute of Neurosciences and the UCSF Osher Center for Integrative Health. She directs the Sleep, Eating, and Affect (SEA) Laboratory, researching novel mind-body treatments for mood disorders, insomnia, and compulsive overeating. Clinically, she leads insomnia treatment at UCSF Osher Center, providing cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I). Learn more about her lab work.
    Harvey Martin
    Harvey Martin is a coach, author, entrepreneur, and podcast host focusing on performance coaching since 2012. He has worked with athletes and business executives, leading workshops for Fortune 500 companies and serving as the human performance coach for the San Francisco Giants. He authored Breathe, Focus, Excel and Without Words. He holds a master’s degree from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Learn more
  • Garrett Conover
    Garrett Conover is author and photographer of SAUNA MAGIC – Health, Happiness, Community, an evocative, lyrical exploration of authentic sauna. Artistry and resonance reflect his life, living along a river in Maine, guiding extended travels in the northern wilds by canoe and snowshoe, and engaging with the natural world. Sauna photography remains an ongoing quest—a dance with radiance and beauty.
    Jake Newport
    Jake is the CEO and founder of several wellness brands, notably Finnmark Sauna. Finnmark is the UK's largest sauna company, providing everything from equipment and materials for DIY customers and modular and kit saunas to full high-end bespoke design and installation services. Jake, inspired to change careers and create Finnmark following life-changing sauna experiences in Finland and the Nordic states nearly a decade ago, is very well-known and highly regarded within the sauna industry. 
    Grant Whittle
    Grant Whittle is a thermal connoisseur with decades of experience visiting wellness centers and natural hot springs. He holds undergraduate pre-med studies and a master’s in Environmental Science and Engineering, giving him a solid foundation in physiology and thermal energy transfer. His expertise allows him to optimize sauna performance and effectively address common misconceptions about thermal bathing.
    Amy Pearce-Hayden
    Amy's yoga journey began in 1995 alongside her training as a professional actor. Founder of The RajaHatha School of Yoga, she centers her philosophy on the idea that “absolutely everything is connected,” encouraging presence to experience life’s unfolding magic. Amy holds certifications in various yoga branches, including Raja, Hatha, Jnana, Bhakti, and Tantra, and has trained yoga teachers in her lineage since 2004. She has been a contributor and cover model for Yoga International, the co-author of Living the Sutras, co-host of the Living It podcast, and creator of the Live Your Yoga card deck.
  • Earric Lee
    Earric Lee earned his PhD in exercise medicine from the University of Jyväskylä in Finland, focusing on the long-term adaptation of exercise with heat therapy for clinical populations. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Montreal Heart Institute’s EPIC Center, Canada’s largest cardiovascular disease prevention center. Earric has extensive experience as an exercise physiologist and strength and conditioning coach. In his free time, he enjoys reading about esotericism and spirituality, including the Bhagavad-Gita, the Tao Te Ching (道德經), and the Lankavatara Sutra. He is also an enthusiastic Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner and uses plant medicine.
    Dr. Jeremiah Eisenschenk
    Is a co-founder of Essentia Health – Brainerd Weight Management Department and Lakes Area Metabolic Health Symposium, the first low-carb conference in Minnesota.  Dr. Eisenschenk was recognized as a “Top Doc” in Family Medicine by Minnesota Monthly Magazine and quoted by DietDoctor.com on his clinical approach to low-carb medicine. He is a guest lecturer at University of Minnesota Medical School, presenting on metabolic health and financial literacy for medical students and residents. Read about Doctors who sauna.
    Dr. Charles Raison
    Dr. Charles Raison is a professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a leading researcher on the connections between mental health, stress, and innovative treatments, including psychedelic medicine. He has been recognized as one of the world’s most influential researchers and has received multiple awards for his work on mental and spiritual health. He is also the co-author of The New Mind-Body Science of Depression.
    Jessie Coomer
    Jesse Coomer is a leading breathwork expert, author, and founder of the Breathwork Tactics program. As co-founder of The Language of Breath Breathworker School, he trains future coaches using a science-based approach to enhance focus, performance, and well-being. His methods have helped countless individuals, from first responders to CEOs, manage stress and improve resilience.
