Odyssey Resorts is ready for summer on the North Shore. All that is missing is you.

Let’s face it, we all have some cabin fever these days. Odyssey Resorts has just the cure. #ChooseYourOdyssey

Bring your family, friends, dog or just yourself for a much deserved, and much needed, trip. Summer is here and Odyssey Resorts is ready to welcome you. Relax, recharge and chart an adventure surrounded by the wonders of nature.

The wide-open spaces of the North Shore are perfect to explore safely. Whether it is your first trip to the area, or the latest in an annual tradition, you will quickly discover why lifelong memories are made at Odyssey Resorts. There is no shortage of activities to fill your day, or your week. We are located right in the heart of all the action, close to the best hiking, biking, kayaking, state parks and local favorites in the area.

The month of June is the perfect time to visit. The days are longer, the nights are warmer, and the area is blooming with colors, sounds and sights. The calendar has plenty of reasons to explore the area. We have put together a few ways you can enjoy the North Shore this month when you book your stay with Odyssey Resorts.

June 3 National Running Day. What better way to celebrate than a run on the Superior Hiking Trail?  The 300 mile-plus trail is Minnesota’s premier hiking and running trail, and one of the natural treasures of the North Shore. Enjoy the natural scenery as you weave through national forests and state parks.

June 15 Nature Photography Day. Don’t forget to pack your camera when you head to the North Shore. Even a novice photographer can take home a few breathtaking shots. Capture the beauty of the area from a state park, a stroll on a beach or a quiet, candid moment off the beaten path. This is a favorite time of year for photography in the area.

June 18 International Picnic Day Pick up an expertly prepared to-go order from one of our restaurants, or prepare a meal in your room’s kitchen area, and then head out for some alfresco dining. There are ample picnic spots along Highway 61 that are perfect for a meal. Don’t forget to hunt for some agates along the beach or stop for some shopping at one of the area’s many charming boutiques when you are finished.

June 20 Summer Solstice Enjoy the longest night of the year, and one of the best days of summer, with a trip to catch the sunset on a secluded beach surrounded by Lake Superior. There is more than 15 hours of sunlight – plenty of time to unplug and recharge after a long winter.

June 21 Father’s Day Treat dad with a trip to the North Shore this summer for the whole family. If he is a golfer, book a round for him at Superior National golf course with a ‘stay and play’ package at Caribou Highlands Lodge.  The course has fun and challenging holes, and some of the best views in the area.

These are just a few options for summer fun at Odyssey Resorts.

It’s time to say goodbye to cabin fever and let your summer adventure begin.
